ENCOUNTERING GRACE THROUGH JESUS RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE. BE MOVED BY GRACE INTO ALL THAT GOD HAS FOR YOU!
I've been lead pastor of GU since 2016. Before that, I served as GU's student pastor for 15 years. I have been a part of the GU family since I was 6 years old! I love telling a good story (true or mostly true), spending time with my family, fishing, reading, and of course fast and loud cars.
In 2013 when my family moved to St.Louis we immediately fell in love with Grace Union. Having been in ministry for over a decade at different churches, it was easy to see what was special about this church. Their love for people and Jesus was evident. I immediately began serving in small group ministry which has led to the position I am in now. I consider it a blessing to serve my church family in the role as Associate Pastor. It allows me to help support people in some of their highest and lowest points which is a true honor and something I do not take lightly. I love trying new coffee places, running, date nights with my wife, hanging with my kids and that quiet hour at the end of the night to watch a show and catch up with my wife on the day's events.
I've been absolutely honored to serve as Grace Union's student pastor starting in 2019, which is the same year I married my beautiful wife Brea. Our son Lincoln was born in 2021, and he has absolutely changed our lives! God has done so much of a redemptive work in my family and I, and I can't explain how excited I am to help students experience that same love! I'm a huge fan of hiking, disc golfing, and especially gaming.
I've had the privilege of serving at Grace Union since 2013. What began as a simple "yes" to what God was asking of me has turned into one of the greatest joys of my life, serving the children and families of Grace Union. Over the years my position has grown and changed but always at the heart is just saying "yes" to God and letting Him do the rest. I spend my free time with my husband and three kids, telling my dog to stop barking, forcing my family to help me with DIY projects, and scouring thrift stores for hidden treasures.
