In the beginning God created humanity to live in a state of perfect unity and peace. However, separation, conflict, chaos, and brokenness occurred as a result of human sin.

As a church we are committed to people encountering Grace right where we are and being moved by Grace toward all God has for them.

  • TO LIVE IN UNION WITH GOD:  Through Christ, we are no longer separated from God, but can now live in forgiveness and union with God.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (MSG)
Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It's God's gift from start to finish!  We don't play the major role. If we did, we'd probably go around bragging that we'd done the whole thing!

Colossians 2:10 (NLT)
and you are complete through your union with Christ. He is the Lord over every ruler and authority in the universe.

  • TO LIVE IN UNION WITH ONE ANOTHER: Because Christ first loved us, we take responsibility to inclusively love others bringing peace and harmony to relationships harmed by dysfunction and conflict.

Romans 14:19 (MSG)
So let's agree to use all our energy in getting along with each other. Help others with encouraging words;

2 Corinthians 5:18 (MSG)
All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other.

  • TO LIVE IN UNION WITH OURSELVES:  Through Christ, we are set free from patterns of brokenness to grow toward wholeness in our body, mind and soul.

1 Corinthians 3:21-23 (MSG)
I don't want to hear any of you bragging about yourself or anyone else. Everything is already yours as a gift- Paul, Apollos, Peter, the world, life, death, the present, the future-all of it is yours, and you are privileged to be in union with Christ, who is in union with God.

Romans 7:4 (NLT)
So this is the point: The law no longer holds you in its power, because you died to its power when you died with Christ on the cross. And now you are united with the one who was raised from the dead. As a result, you can produce good fruit, that is, good deeds for God.

  • TO LIVE IN UNION FOR OUR BROKEN WORLD: Through Christ, together we serve as God's hands and feet to care for the broken, hurt and forgotten in our world.

Ephesians 2:10 (MSG)
No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.

Luke 11:41 (MSG)
Turn both your pockets and your hearts inside out and give generously to the poor; then your lives will be clean, not just your dishes and your hands.

1 Corinthians 13:3 (MSG)
If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don't love, I've gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt without love.
